But the foundation of this relationship didn't start with a business conversation. It started with results.
After seeing an advertisement featuring Olympic medalist McLain Ward's success with Summit Animal Health products, Danny and Ron reached out to McLain to learn more about his experience. During their conversation, McLain shared how the products had made a positive impact within his program. Inspired by that firsthand recommendation, Danny Robertshaw and Ron Danta decided to try Summit products for themselves.
What began as a search for additional support for a few horses soon grew into a relationship built on shared values and a common goal: helping animals live healthier, happier lives.

Who Are Danny & Ron?
Danny Robertshaw and Ron Danta have dedicated their lives to helping animals in need.
Their rescue journey gained national attention following Hurricane Katrina in 2005, when they helped rescue more than 600 displaced dogs affected by the storm. What began as an emergency response became a lifelong mission.
Over the years, Danny & Ron's Rescue has saved more than 15,000 dogs from shelters, puppy mills, abuse situations, neglect cases, and other life-threatening circumstances. Their commitment to animal welfare has earned national recognition, including being named ASPCA Honorees of the Year.
Today, Danny & Ron's Rescue continues to provide hope, healing, and second chances to dogs who need it most.
A Different Kind of Rescue
What makes Danny & Ron's Rescue unique is their belief that healing starts with love.
Rather than relying on a traditional kennel environment, rescued dogs are welcomed into a true home where they receive medical care, rehabilitation, socialization, and the patience needed to rebuild trust.

Like many horse owners, Danny and Ron are always looking for ways to help their animals feel and perform their best.
After hearing positive feedback from McLain Ward, they introduced Summit Animal Health products into their own program and quickly noticed a difference.
