Amberley Snyder is a champion barrel racer, keynote speaker, and a living example of resilience in motion.

In 2010, at just 19 years old, Amberley was involved in a devastating car crash that left her paralyzed from the waist down with a T12 spinal cord injury. Despite the life-changing event, Amberley refused to let adversity define her future. Within four months, she was back on a horse. By 18 months post-injury, she had returned to rodeo competition, using a specially modified saddle with a seatbelt.

In 2015, she was voted the fan exemption contestant at the world’s richest one-day rodeo, RFD-TV’s The American. Competing against the top athletes in the sport, she finished just 0.6 seconds short of the winning time and earned a standing ovation from over 40,000 fans in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Amberley went on to earn her WPRA card in 2016 and secure a Top 5 spot in the Rocky Mountain Pro Rodeo Association rankings. In 2016, her inspiring comeback was featured on the Today Show, and in 2019, her story reached international audiences through the Netflix biopic "Walk. Ride. Rodeo." — where Amberley performed all of her own post-accident riding scenes.

Her journey didn’t stop with competition. Amberley earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education in 2015, followed by a Master’s in School Counseling in 2018 from Utah State University. Today, she travels the country as a motivational speaker, sharing her message of perseverance, purpose, and grit with schools, sports teams, and corporate audiences alike.

She also inspires thousands through her popular “Wheelchair Wednesday” video series, where she offers behind-the-scenes glimpses of her life, training, and mindset. Her authenticity, humor, and unshakable faith have made her a powerful role model for people of all ages facing challenges.
