Uma O’Neill

Uma O’Neill is an international 5★ show jumper and an Olympic rider for Team New Zealand. She began her competitive career representing the United States in junior and amateur divisions, including appearances at the North American Junior and Young Rider Championships and the U.S. U25 National Championships, before electing to represent New Zealand in 2019, honoring her dual heritage.

In 2018, she captured a breakthrough win at the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Vancouver with her top mount Clockwise of Greenhill Z. Since then, she has been a consistent performer on the FEI circuit, competing at elite events across North America and Europe.

In 2021, Uma represented New Zealand at the Tokyo Olympic Games, riding Clockwise of Greenhill Z on the world’s biggest stage. She continues to be a key contender for her nation at major international championships, combining speed, precision, and composure in high-pressure arenas.

Today, Uma operates O’Neill Show Jumping with bases in both California and Wellington, Florida, where she trains and competes alongside her mother, Jane O’Neill.
