Tomas Garcilazo is an internationally acclaimed rope artist and horseman, widely recognized as one of the foremost ambassadors of Mexican equestrian tradition. Born into a family deeply rooted in La Charrería, Mexico’s national sport, Tomas began training in the art of rope artistry and horsemanship at an early age, learning from his father and grandfather.

His career has taken him to some of the most prestigious venues in the world, with performances at the White House, on Broadway, at Disneyland, and across Europe and North America. His signature acts combine precision roping, skilled horsemanship, and cultural storytelling, captivating audiences of all ages.

Within professional rodeo, Tomas has been honored as the PRCA Specialty Act of the Year four times, a testament to his excellence and showmanship. Beyond accolades, he has become a living bridge between past and future generations, preserving Mexican equestrian culture while inspiring audiences worldwide.

Tomas now trains and performs with his family, passing the traditions of La Charrería on to his son, ensuring the heritage continues. His performances highlight not only artistry and athleticism but also the importance of cultural pride and preservation.
