Tom McCutcheon

Summit has made a huge difference in our show horses and breeding stallions.

Tom McCutcheon is one of the most successful trainers in the history of reining, with more than $3 million in NRHA lifetime earnings. His achievements include two gold medals at the FEI World Equestrian Games, an NRBC Open Derby Championship, and numerous major futurity and derby titles. In recognition of his impact on the industry, he was inducted into the NRHA Hall of Fame.

Raised in a family of horse trainers, Tom quickly established himself as a leader in the sport. His career highlights include being named USEF Equestrian of the Year, as well as appearances on national television, including consulting for the hit series Yellowstone and the CMT reality competition The Last Cowboy.

Today, Tom and his wife Mandy McCutcheon, herself a Hall of Fame rider and NRHA $3 Million Non-Pro, operate Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses in Aubrey, Texas. Their world-class facility offers training, breeding, stallion management, and rehabilitation services, producing elite horses and riders at the international level.
