Mary Burger is an American professional barrel racer and one of the most inspiring figures in rodeo. She has won two WPRA World Championships in barrel racing (2006 and 2016) and is a four-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier.

In 2016, at 68 years old, Mary made history as the oldest professional rodeo world champion in any event, while also becoming the third barrel racer ever to wear the coveted No. 1 back number at the NFR. That season she set multiple records, including the highest single-season earnings for a WPRA barrel racer and the oldest qualifier to the NFR.

Her accomplishments and longevity in the sport earned her induction into the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame in 2017, cementing her legacy as both a competitor and a role model.
