David Blake

David Blake is an Irish international show jumper who has built a career competing at the top levels of the sport. He won his first Senior International Grand Prix at just 17 years old and was named Showjumping Ireland’s Young Rider of the Year in 2008. The following year, he represented Ireland at the Young Rider European Championships in Hoofddorp, Holland, and delivered strong results at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

Since 2012, David has been the head rider and trainer at Pine Hollow Farms in the United States, where he develops and competes elite Grand Prix horses. His career highlights include winning the $127,000 Adequan® CSI3 Grand Prix at Tryon with Binkie*, and earning top placings aboard horses such as Keoki, Cornwall BH, and J. Diago at major shows across the U.S., including Traverse City, Tryon, and Wilmington.

In 2025, he added another victory to his record, winning the $70,000 Farm House Grand Prix CSI2* with Cornwall BH and producing consistent top results with J. Diago in international competition.

David has also represented Team Ireland in Nations Cups and climbed into the Top 100 of the FEI Longines World Rankings, establishing himself as both a competitor and mentor in international show jumping.

He incorporates Summit Animal Health’s Joint & Mobility for Horses into his training program, helping his horses stay comfortable, flexible, and prepared for the demands of Grand Prix competition.
