Shane Proctor is a PRCA World Champion bull rider and one of the most recognized names in professional rodeo. He captured the 2011 PRCA World Championship and has qualified for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) six times, including winning the NFR average title in 2016.
Over his career, Shane has earned victories at major rodeos across the United States, including wins at the Oakley Independence Day Rodeo in Utah, the Richland County Fair & Rodeo in Montana, and the Extreme Seminole Showdown in Florida. He was also a co-champion at the Calgary Stampede, one of the sport’s most prestigious events.
Beyond the arena, Shane gained national recognition when he won the 2008 Toughest Cowboy reality competition, earning both prize money and ranch land. His career showcases both grit and longevity, competing successfully against some of the toughest bulls in the PRCA.
Today, Shane remains a competitor and mentor, traveling alongside his wife, trick rider and performer Haley Proctor, and their daughter while continuing to contribute to the western sports community.
