NRHA $3 Million Rider • Youngest NRHA Open Futurity Champion • WEG Gold & Bronze Medalist
Summit has made a huge difference in all of my futurity horses. It helps them stay happy and healthy during those long shows.
Cade McCutcheon is one of reining’s brightest young stars and a history-making competitor. At just 18 years old, he was named to the U.S. Reining Squad for the 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games, where he helped secure a team gold medal and earned individual bronze aboard Custom Made Gun.
The following year, Cade made history as the youngest NRHA Open Futurity Champion, winning aboard Super Marioo. That same season he surpassed $1 million in NRHA earnings at only 19 years old. By 2024, he crossed the $3 million milestone, with major wins at the NRHA Derby and as co-champion of the inaugural Run for a Million in 2019.
Cade is the son of Tom and Mandy McCutcheon and the grandson of Tim and Colleen McQuay, all NRHA Hall of Famers or Million Dollar Riders. Raised at Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses in Texas, Cade earned his first competition check at age seven and has continued the family legacy of excellence with remarkable consistency.
As a professional rider and trainer, Cade depends on Summit Animal Health’s premium equine supplements and products to keep his futurity horses comfortable, mobile, and ready for peak performance during demanding competition schedules.
